Fajita Night

Happy Friday! I actually thought today was Saturday. One of my coworkers is on vacation so I've been working days I don't normally work. It has just been a very weird week, routine wise, and I've been all confused.  As much as I say I hate routine, I really love it. It makes it so much easier to keep track of the days. Anyone else like that?

Anyhow, last night I couldn't decide what to make for dinner so after looking through the fridge I decided on steak fajitas. I love fajitas.  I added a different ingredient than usual; Worcestershire. Worcestershire seems to make everything taste so much better. Go on, give it a try, you'll be surprised.

First, Gather your ingredients.

1 lb (more or less is fine)  flank steak thinly sliced (I've used other types too and it's come out great too)

2 onions (or 1 big one)

2 red peppers

2 green pepper (or a bag of frozen mixed)

2 tsp. Chili powder

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp cilantro

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp coriander

1 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

Dash of Worcestershire

1/2 cup water

Flour tortillas

Sour cream, shredded cheese, and another other topping you like

In a small bowl combine spices and set aside. In a pan sauté pepper and onions until tender.

Add water spices, and steak. Drizzle with Worcestershire.  I know it sounds odd, but it made it taste so good.  Cook until water is meat is tender.

Serve on top of warmed tortillas and top with the fixings of your choice.

Well, that is all I have for today. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
