Monster Favor Buckets

Who says all Halloween things have to be scary? These cute monster's sure aren't.

I created these cute monster favors with stuff that I already had lying around in my craft room. I should be named Mrs. El Cheapo because I hate to spend money, especially when it comes to crafts. Majority of my supplies, I've bought off discount racks, or have gotten as gifts, or from the dollar store. I love the dollar store. It's like my second home.

These buckets were so easy to create. I think I'm going to make more for favors for my sons class. I made these favor bags here, but I think first graders would like these a bit more.

First I took a plain boring bucket, found at  the Dollar Tree in the wedding section, and wrapped it with neon green yarn. I started from the bottom and worked my way up, and just tucked the ends.

Next I embellished them with odds and ends from my stash. One of them has foil wrapped around the rim, and a capital letter "I" as the mouth. The other one has a pipe cleaner as the mouth. Cute, eh?

After that I stuffed them with tissue paper. The last thing to do is just fill them with treats of your choice. It's so simple and they both took about 5 minutes to create. Simple and easy.
