Holidays are over

Hello! Only a few more nights of this before I start disassembling it. Boo...

How did your Christmas go? I hope it was great. Mine was. Christmas was low key, which was a nice change.  My husband and I didn't get each other anything this year but we made sure our Jacob had a good Christmas.   My mother in law or as I called her…Santa-in-law didn't think we were going to get Jacob enough gifts so she provided us with a stocking from Santa. I insisted that we would have enough but she's a very sweet and generous lady who wouldn't take no for an answer. She gave both my husband and I one, but they weren't nearly as big. Which it totally okay. :)

Isn't that crazy? The one she provided was the big red one. You can't miss it! It's huge. As he was opening it my very observant six year old noticed some things were the same as the dollar store and things that Grammy had at her house. Luckily he left it at that and didn't pursue it further. Pheww! Gotta be more careful Grammy! lol.

I worked today. I was very glad to go home because people were brutal today. I realize that returning things can be frustrating but it makes it much easier, and makes us employees want to help you (general you) when your not throwing cuss words at us or calling us names like a first grader. It's retail though, so it's expected. I just don't like it.

That is why I am working on some things that will hopefully get me the heck out of there. If I don't try, I'll never know but I do have a good feeling. I wish I would have gone with my gut a while back but it's the past. I'm not religious, but I do  believe that things happen for a reason and there must have been some reason I got lost along the way.

Tomorrow is a new day!
