Well, helllooo Monday, didn't you creep up a bit fast. I did a little bit of scrapbooking in between working and helping clean the attic. Let me tell you…we have a lot of junk. Isn't that what an attic is for, thought? Junk. I don't know what we were thinking because now with a move in the future, it is just a pain in thee butt to go through. Oh well! It's got to be done.
We still have no idea where we are going. As Spring is in bloom, and the more we hear snow in the forecast the more we want to move where there is very little snow. We're not snow people. Not even a little. Both of us are applying out of state but we're not fancy shmancey people so we know it's not going to be easy. After almost a year of looking, and many interviews that turned into nothing, it looks like out of state is our best choice. If we happen to find something here, great, but if we don't we're ready for a new environment. Whichever happens first, that's what we'll do.
At work we just converted to the same system that every company seems to be using and now that I'm learning I'm getting a taste of what really happens behind the scenes. While it's interesting to learn, it's also a little discouraging. Sometimes I wish technology didn't play such a roll in the job processes because I think companies can miss out on really great candidates.
I can't wait for my husband to find a job and everything just settles down into normal everyday life without the job hunting stress and now the moving stress. I also can't wait to buy something other than groceries! I'm yearning for some scrapbook stuff! Especially alphabet stickers, there's not much you can do with sheet after sheet of leftover X's, Q's and no vowels. My husband has been forewarned and prepared for the large box of scrapbook products that will be showing up at our doorstep once he finds a job.
