And I'm not talking relationships…I'm talking alphabet stickers and scrapbooking. Scrapbooking seems to be the theme for this week. I've cooked (obviously) this week but nothing much different than I've already shared. So, scrapbooking it is. The last paragraph in yesterdays post got me thinking…the line about leftover X's and Q's…well, after I wrote it I felt a strong urge to create a scrapbook layout about it. Actually, it's a page in my project life smash book thingy…it just seemed to fit somehow.
If you're a scrapbooker, you feel my pain. What the heck are we going to do with all those X's anyway? I can think of a handful of words that contain the letter X and I can assure you that most of them aren't going to be scrapbooked. I say get rid of them and put more vowels in…I know I never have enough.
Oh, and hey, I went scrapbook shopping today after work! Just kidding, kind of…I ran out of glue so headed to Michaels. I'm not usually a fan, because they seem to always be resetting the floor, and never have anything new but today it was like walking into scrapbook heaven. I'm pretty sure it was due to the fact that I haven't been scrapbook shopping in over a year. I couldn't help but look at everything. My husband thought I was nuts as I walked through the patterned paper aisle ogling at all the pretty papers pointing out the ones I wanted to add to my collection. I think after that trip he realized just how big that box is going to be.
