Project Life: Random Style

Back to square one. I'm done getting excited about anything.  I'm just going to go into every situation expecting the worst, because every time I expect the best, I just end up disappointed. I swear I jinx it by being excited.  This job search thing is very frustrating. It's even more stressful considering the circumstances. I could write a whole post on the subject but I'm not. It is what it is.  Lesson learned.

I worked on my Smash style, Project life planner thing. LOL, I'm not sure what to call it.  Last week I forgot to write things down, so instead, I made a pocket out of velum and included some things from the week.

I finally got around to switching my work nametag from the holiday one to the regular one. I don't wear my nametag, that's why it took me so long.  On the back of it I wrote a short synopsis of my journey working there. I also included some notes written on scrap for my novel (40 pages and counting!). I'm only one my first draft and I'm sure I'll write a few more before it's officially done.  Everything I write starts out handwritten, then I rewrite the crud out of it until it sounds fluid, then I type it. I usually carry a notebook for this kind of thing, but I forgot it. Ooops!  Maybe one day these notes will be of value, lol; if not of monetary, it least they will hold sentimental value. In addition to those things,  I included a flyer, and a store receipt.

Here is another page that I worked on today! After I finished writing, I noticed I put it in the wrong date so I just decided to gussy up the entire page. I left a spot for a small photo for when I eventually get them developed.

We're all starting to feel normal again. I feel like I'm talking in tunnel, but other than that, I feel great. I'm glad that this cold is on it's way out the door. *Knock on Wood* Another jinx is the last thing I need.

  1. I can't even tell you how much I love this smash book project life thing you're doing! It is so cool! Maybe instead of expecting the best or worst, you can just put positive vibes out there for the job search! Glad you're all feeling better!

Don't be shy! Stop by and say hello!
