The Work of a Night Owl

Hello! How is it Wednesday already?? I don't know if any of you creative ladies ladies (or men) have this problem: Whenever you have free time to create, you can't.

I have the entire day to create but I can't. I can't seem to get my brain to work during the day but once the clock strikes 10:30pm my head floods with all kinds of creative ideas. It's like clockwork. Then I end up staying up until all hours of the night, creating, writing or sketching my ideas.

So, what have I been doing? I don't know if any of you know, but I actually went to school fro graphic arts. Unfortunately I was never able to finish the degree. The whole situation is what started my spiral of confusion, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth just thinking about it. But, through scrapbooking I've found many ways to put what I've learned to good use. So my money was definitely not wasted.  Even though I will forever be a paper scrapper, I find myself dabbling in digital scrapbooking, mostly out of sheer boredom when everyone is sleeping, and I'm wide awake with nothing else to do. HA!  I haven't actually made a digital layout recently but I've made lots of digital paper. Want to see?

Right now I'm just playing around and getting familiar with the programs again. So my stuff is kind of all over the place.  See those two journal cards? Yup. Those right there in the first picture. I'm working on making those (and a few more) into a free printable. One of them I screwed up so I have to start from the beginning because I didn't save it in layers. Whoops! Beginners mistake.

  1. These are so much fun! I'm a journaling card junkie, so I would definitely use these. :)
