Peppermint Water

I haven't been feeling myself lately. I hate being sick. I think it's because my hours have been weird and my whole schedule is messed up. I haven't been eating very good, so low and behold, I felt like pure garbage the last few days.. My body is super sensitive and if my routine gets messed up, it's all over.

I normally try to eat every hour. Not a full meal, of course but a fruit or a handful of nuts. If I don't eat often, I get super hungry and get nauseous. If it continues, I get sick. Well, that's what happened. I've only been eating my 3 meals a day without snacks in between. And I've just felt so gross. I'd eat then feel sick because I let myself go too long without eating. To curb the nausea, I've been drinking peppermint water.

Not peppermint tea. I'm not a fan of tea. I only drink it if that is the only choice I have. Bleck. Peppermint water is super easy to make and it tastes a heck of a lot better than tea and curbs the nausea

Fill up a glass or a jar with water, put a couple of spoonfuls of dried peppermint leaves in the container and mix it up. (I use cut and sifted peppermint leaves), Let it sit for about a half hour or longer (depending your own taste buds), then strain and drink. Simple as that.

Now that I feel {somewhat} better I need to get some stuff done!

*I am not a doctor in any way, shape, or form. I drink this because it makes me feel good. Everybody is different. Consult your own practitioner for advice*
