How is everyone's Saturday going? John is in the attic and here I am, sitting on the computer writing for my blog.
I.am.so.sick.of.packing. Seriously, I don't have much more to go, I'm just so sick of it. So I'm taking a break.
Yesterday I was going through all my Back up CD's that weren't labeled, so I could label the before I packed them up. *yeah..I was never good at that until I started scrapbooking and needed to keep track of them, lol. I wish I had though...* I found a lot of old pictures that brought back so many good memories, pictures I had forgotten I had. I also found another digital copy of my cruise photos which I thought were gone forever.
You have no idea how excited that makes me. For some reason they were deleted off my laptop and my old computer. I have hard copies of them, and a whole scrapbook but I just wanted the digital version, just in case. The CD that I *actually* labeled was corrupt and I thought they were gone forever. Since I took over 700 photos, I was not looking forward to scanning them so I was very glad I found another copy.
Here are a few of my favorites.
This photo was taken in the air on the flight home. Out of all the pictures I took, this is my all time favorite one. It was such a beautiful day. I'm one of the rare people that actually really enjoys flying. It's exhilarating seeing the world from a whole new perspective. I love it.
This one is from when we pulled pack into Port Canaveral in the early morning on the last day of the cruise. Of course I had to be up to capture the moment.
We had just started to set sail and the sun was just starting to set. Ahh, I feel so calm when I look at this photo.
Gorgeous Flower on Royal Caribbean's own private Island, Cococay. Such a relaxing day.
This photo was from the tender boat to head back to the ship which was parked in the ocean because the water was too shallow for it to pull up to the island.
Almost back to the ship
This one is somewhere in St. Maarten. We were on a bus tour of the Island.
Now that I looked at these again, it makes me want to go on vacation. I love photographs because they bring me back to the moment. I love to travel but don't do it nearly enough. Actually I never travel…lol. This was the last 'real' vacation I took in a long time, and this was in 2007. I think I'm due for another one.
Have a great weekend!
