Friday Ramblings

My day was interesting. I spend the morning dilly dallying, browsing the Web, catching up with an old friend and just doing some little things around here.  Finally after lunch decided I really needed to continue packing. I continued with my scrapbook area; Holy Crap do I have a lot of stuff. I remember when I first started scrapbooking, I had one measly box filled with stickers, and a small pile of paper.  Now, Whoa! My stash has grown considerably…I have some stuff in the trash/sell piles but not enough to make a dent. I love it all! It's hard to part with some of it.

Like my balancing act? LOL. This isn't even half of it,  and I was just thinking recently, I didn't have enough. Yeah,  I think I have plenty.  Of course now that everything is starting to get packed up, I just want to sit down and create. Go figure, huh? That's how it always works. I haven't even moved yet and I can't wait to get everything unpacked.

After John came home I took it as an opportunity to escape. Having no car is really driving me crazy, I feel so trapped. We have to get one soon though. I headed to Walmart to get some more packing tape. We had plenty but this stuff I have is so sticky, I had trouble cutting it and it just kept crumbling in to a ball. I'm pretty sure I wasted more than I used.  After that, I made a trip to the grocery store.

See that bread? I very rarely buy store bought bread, but with moving and trying to get everything packed I just don't have time to make it. We didn't need a lot, just a few things --orange juice, bananas, plums, nectarines, grapes, granola, coconut water and some other things as well,… of course I had to pick up dessert. I don't usually buy dessert either, but once in a while if they have Tiramisu at the bakery, I will pick it up. It's my weakness. But really though, anything with coffee is my weakness. I guess all that fruit I bought will balance out that dessert I don't need. That's how it works, right? Lol.

After Tomorrow I'm on vacation for a week. It's not going to be much of a vacation as I'm hoping to get almost everything packed up. Moving is so much fun………..

Now that I've bored you with my day, how was yours? Was it as exciting as mine?

  1. You're definitely making progress with packing! It's amazing how much we accumulate, isn't it?

Don't be shy! Stop by and say hello!
