Pumpkin Spiced Syrup

Hello! Can you stand another pumpkin recipe floating around the web? I hope so! One of the many things I love about fall, besides the weather, the leaves changing, and the activities that are centered around fall, I love pumpkin  spiced Lattes, iced coffee's, hot coffees, muffins, bread, -- You get the point. This post is centered around my love for pumpkin spiced lattes. Yum! Who doesn't love these? Even better, who doesn't love spending their entire paycheck on coffee every week. Me! Here's a really simple recipe so you can make your own pumpkin flavored coffees at home. And save some money too. Who doesn't like saving?? I know I do.

Pumpkin Spice Syrup

2 Tbs. pumpkin puree
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp ginger

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.  Let cool to room temperature before sealing in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
