Diy Hot Chocolate Mix

Whoa! It's Friday already?? Where the heck did the week go? It started off incredibly slow for me then. BAM, now it's today.  It's probably because I've been working a lot. I can't wait until Monday when I finally have a day off. 6 days in a row.  I'm not complaining because I will take the hours, but it's so weird to go from so many days off to many days in a row. It's expected though. :) Retail. It's very unpredictable.

Anyway! Enough talk about work. Can you believe that it is November already? I can't. This morning when walked out to the car to drive Jacob to school it was SNOWING! Yeah, you heard that right, SNOW.  *sigh* I am not ready.  On the plus side, it was too warm for it to stick, so once it hit the ground it just melted. It's inevitable that it is going to stick eventually. I was talking with a co worker a few nights ago and we agreed that snow would be perfectly okay if it snowed on everything except car, roads, driveways, and any sort of walkway. If only.

So, when you think of snow what do you think about? I think about sweaters, scarf, hat, mitten and….Hot Chocolate! Hot chocolate is the perfect way to warm up after spending the day in the frigid snow. And I have the perfect recipe for you.

Hot Chocolate Mix:

3 Cups of Dry Milk powder
1 1/2 cups of coco Powder
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup chocolate chips

Add all ingredients in a food processor and blend until combined. Store in an air tight container.

To make hot chocolate: Add 1/4 cup of mix to 1 cup of warm milk. Stir and enjoy.

This  actually would make the perfect gift for Christmas, for co workers and acquaintances. You can package it up individually, or make a basket of it. I have a few ideas that may make there way on here. ;)

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
