Good Morning! We had our first snow of the season. Jacob was beyond excited. He woke up this morning and headed straight to my bed to look out the window to see if John "stole" my car, and once he saw the flakes falling from the sky, he immediately forgot about the car and screeched out in excitement. Me on the other hand, I'm not really excited. I've never been a fan of snow but it made me excited to see him so excited.
Okay, so let me explain the whole stolen car thing….well, my car was acting funny for a few weeks so John decided to take it for a test drive. Well, not really thinking it was big deal to have Johns car, I didn't even bother mentioning it to Jacob. Who would have though a kid would care which car I drove him to school in? Well Jacob does apparently. We headed out one day as we normally would and as Jacob decesded the stairs to our apartment complex, he stopped in his tracks and screamed. "Ohhhhh! Daddy stole our car! Call the police! Throw him in Jail! He's a bad driver and not allowed to take our car!" I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life. So now, every time John wants to take my car now, he makes sure to tell Jacob that he is taking it. As far as the problem….we ended up having to get the transmission replaced. John and I were totally clueless when it comes to buying a car, but it's been quite the learning experience. Luckily, even though the warranty was already expired, the dealership replaced it for free since we've only had the car for 8 weeks when we discovered the problem. Now it run great (knock on wood. I don't need to jinx myself).
So, I've been holding off on cooking because of my broken camera. And my cell phone doesn't take great pictures either so hopefully when I get my camera either today or tomorrow I will be back up posting with recipes. Since I haven't been cooking much, I've been working on some printable Christmas tags that I hope to share with you guys come December. Here is a sneak peak at one of them:
That's all I've got for today. Happy Tuesday!
