Time flies when you're having fun.
I feel bad that I've been neglecting my little corner of the Internet. To be honest with you, the only time I've sat on the computer recently was to work on some projects so I can FINALLY launch my Etsy store. I knew it was going to be a lot of work to get started, but I didn't anticipate HOW MUCH work it was actually going to take between creating the fun stuff (product), and taking care of the not so fun stuff (writing up a TOU, saving files, importing files, compressing, spell checking, and a whole slew of other things). I'm a perfectionist when it comes to any type of work I do that leads back to my reputation. I like to make sure all my T's are crossed and my I's are dotted. It's worth it though, because I LOVE doing and I've got a good feeling about it. I'm FINALLY incorporating something I went to school for, and something that I know and love into my life. Even if it starts slow, I don't care. I've got plans. :) I have to start somewhere.
Between doing that, working like a "regular person" as my husband calls it, family time, karate for Jacob the computer has been the last thing on my mind. I don't even watch TV. At night, I've just been curling up on the couch with a blanket and a tea (or water) and reading a good old fashioned paperback. I like it actually. Before I got married and while I lived on my own before any "real" responsibilities, I used to read a book a week. I forgot how much I missed reading. I've been doing a book a month, which is pretty good, considering.
That's all I've got for tonight!
