Hello! Hello! Hello! It's been crazy. Work Work Work. I honestly have no idea what is going on in that place because it changes everyday. I do know for a fact that there will be some MAJOR changes coming up. And by MAJOR, I mean… M A j O R. I've read some things, I've heard some things and I see things and it's definitely going to be interesting. Everything seems to be hush hush and nobody knows for sure what's going on. Right now I'm just relying on the rumor train…so…who the heck knows.
In addition to working, I've been plugging away at my digital/graphic design stuff. I'm almost done with an Easter kit. Once I finish that, I will put more focus on opening my Etsy store. I've been putting a lot of work in to creating stuff, and learning more techniques in Inkscape…..since digital stuff will be the basis of my store. Here's a sneak of what I've been working on.
It's not much of a peek, but who doesn't like looking at Washi tape :) I know i do, whether it's digital or not.
It's funny, because had I stuck with graphic design (life got complicated, spiral of confusion, etc) when I first went to college I'd probably not be working the job I am now. Oh well! I was pulled in too many directions, letting other people make decisions for me and I ended up more confused than ever. I believe things happen for a reason, and me discovering scrapbooking when I was pregnant with my son was the first step in learning that this is something I really want to do. I'm certainly a slow learner, LOL because he's going to be 8 in June. I've learned a ton and I'm just looking it as, things happened in the order they were supposed to happen. I actually feel more confident now than I did in my abilities too.
I've got a lot of hobbies and interests :) It keeps me sane because I get bored easily. So that's what this blog is. Just a mish mash of everything I like to do -- cooking, writing, scrapbooking/digital scrapbook, designing --. When I stray from that, and try to follow the crowd, I get bored. That's what happened to me way back then too…I've learned my lesson.
Have a fantastic day!
