Container Gardening Attempt

Good Monday Morning to you! I hope you all had a great weekend along with a great Easter celebration. Did you do anything? Or did you just have a laid back kind of day? I had to work on Easter for a few hours then I  headed over to my in-laws for Easter dinner.

April Vacation is in full swing here. Unfortunately  John and I still have to work so we have  few little things planned for Jacob for when we have a day off. One thing Jacob is excited about helping me with this vacation is container gardening. He said the other day that 'he's never been a gardener before and he can't wait to learn.'

Well, it's going to be a learning experience for me too since I seem to have a black thumb and tend to kill all my plants. It's a good sign that they've started sprouting though.

I've got parsley, cilantro, basil, bib lettuce, spinach, beets, radishes, carrots, and tomatoes. So far so good. We'll see if I actually get any veggies in a few months.

  1. Good luck with your seedlings! There's nothing like fresh from the garden, especially when you grow it yourself. :)

  2. Your garden looks like it is sprouting nicely :)
Spent our weekend inside as we had snow storms :)
Looking forward to this snow melting so I can get to planting.
