Ramblings & another peek into my Smashbook

Who in their right mind would volunteer to work on a Monday is they didn't have to? You'd think they were crazy, right? Right.

Well…Call me crazy, but that's what I did.

The store as a whole had a few extra hours to play with so with the drastic cut in hours in the office, I did because the office was so messy and we're so behind on paperwork that I wanted to get caught up. I only went in for a few hours, but just imagine…14 days of daily filing stacked up on the desk, 23 days worth of various other reports that need to be worked…yeah.  Just imagine.

The desk is visable now, which is good because it was giving me, and the other ladies that working in the office anxiety. I HATE MESS! . Everything is filed that needs to be filed and I started working on the things that needed to be worked but there is just so much.  The most important stuff is getting done daily, so I guess that's all that matters. I just hate working in a mess.

Unless I'm scrapbooking, of course. I can't seem to create if my desk is clean. I can't explain it. Speaking of scrapbooking -- Here's another peek into my smashbook.

This is one of the more simple pages I've created.

Well, That's all I've got for today. I should have a recipe of two for you later on in the week. :) See you the next time!

  2. Glad you got some things cleaned up at work. There ate some people in my office that work in total chaos and it drives me crazy! I have no idea how they find anything! Great smash book page!

  3. I agree with everything you have written in your smashbook page! I am a writer as well, and I often think/dream about writing. The crazy thing is that it sometimes it takes discipline for me to actually write! I think that because I am so passionate about it there is a hidden fear behind it. This year I have taken to keep a running spread sheet of my word count for everything (blog posts, fiction, other), so that I can look back and SEE what I have actually achieved and I find that a great motivator to actually write.
