Super Simple Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwich

I asked this same question on Facebook - Is it weird to want a fresh start? I am working towards changing a lot about myself - dealing with issues that I should have dealt with eons ago - and making my life better. I'm not talking anything dramatic. Just small things. Wipe the slate clean and start new kind of thing. Even Facebook.  I still want to 'be involved' inn Facebook. I think it's a great way to reconnect with old friends, and stay connected with people but I feel like the account I have now is associated so much with "the old me", that it hold me back in some sort of way. I'm not saying it correctly because Facebook doesn't really hold me back, its just the account that I have at the moment is associated with so much of my past and various situations involving my past, that I just want move past it and start new. Even on Facebook.

This turning 30 thing has done me a lot of good. I feel like I've hit a breaking point and have had so many things brought to my attention that have been such a learning experience as to the person I have become and I want and need to change.  I've just kind of been stuck. And now I want to be unstuck and start this new portion of my life.

Since you had to sit through that, here is the recipe you've been waiting for. Super Simple Shredded BBQ chicken Sandwiches.

Phew! That was a mouthful! You'll have a mouthful too once you take your first bite of this sandwich. It's so yummy and….so simple. Duh. Here's what you need and how to make it.

Ingredients:

1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
2 whole chicken breasts (the kind with the bones)
4-6 hamburger buns.

In a slow cooker add chicken and BBQ sauce. Cook on High for 3-5 hours. Once tender, shred chicken with a fork, discard bones, and serve on buns.

Now, if that isn't simple I don't know what is. Enjoy!

I should be up with some more crafty posts later on in the week. I have a peek at a new digital kit I'm working on and Monday I should be sharing my latest digital project life layout. I'm really loving this weeks layout and I can't wait to share it. See you next time!

I can understand wanting to start fresh, isn't that what most of us try to do in the new year…start with a clean slate and improve ourselves?
If you want a change only you can do that…all my best :)
